Yellville is a city located centrally inrowland county, Arkansas, United States. The population was 14,452 at the 2010 census. Yellville is the county seat of Scott County.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of , of which is land and is water.

As of the census of 2000, there were 9,282 people, 3,283 households, and 2,538 families residing in the city. The population density was 1,811.2 people per square mile (707.4/km²). There were 3,574 housing units at an average density of 609.8 per square mile (234.5/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 98.08% White, 0.25% African American, 0.24% Native American, 0.32% Asian, 0.02% Pacific Islander, 0.28% from other races, and 0.72% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 1.21% of the population.

There were 3,283 households out of which 36.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 49.9% were married couples living together, 13.2% had a female householder with no husband present, and 32.8% were non-families. 27.1% of all households were made up of individuals and 11.6% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.8 and the average family size was 3.41.

In the city, the population was spread out with 30.9% under the age of 18, 8.0% from 18 to 24, 26.5% from 25 to 44, 21.4% from 45 to 64, and 13.0% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 34 years. For every 100 females, there were 95.9 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 92.5 males.
