Thousand Island Park is located in the midwestern United States between the northeast corner of Ohio and Illinois. The city is bordered by the Wabash River to the north and east, the Indiana state line to the south and southeast, and by the Warren-Troy-Adams county line to the west. It is the only incorporated city in Wabash County, and has a population of 11,186 as of the 2010 census.

Thousand Island Park is located at 38°46′N 89°39′W on the Wabash River near the Ohio state line. The city is approximately 12 miles southeast of the Ohio capital of Columbus. The city is adjacent to Thompsonville, Indiana, to the south and east.

According to the 2010 census, the median income for a household in the city was $57,116, and the median income for a family was $68,961. Males had a median income of $41,189 versus $31,362 for females. The per capita income for the city was $24,563.
