South Carrollton is a community located in southeastern Jefferson County, in the U.S. state of Missouri. As of the 2010 census, the population was 4,837. The community is situated between the Kansas City metropolitan area and the Saint Louis metropolitan area, and is generally considered to be part of the Kansas City metropolitan area.

As of the census of 2010, there were 4,837 people, 1,802 households, and 1,226 families residing in the community. The population density was .
