Saint Rose City is located in Adams County, Kansas, just south of the Kansas-Oklahoma state line. The city was originally founded in 1872 as a railroad town on the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway. The population was 2,751 at the 2010 census. Saint Rose is the principal city of the Saint Rose Micropolitan Statistical Area, which has a population of 15,876.
