Pipersville is a city located in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, United States. It is the county seat of Montgomery County, as well as the largest municipality in the county. As of the 2010 census, the population was 50,007. The city is located in the suburban Philadelphia region east of the city of Philadelphia, south of Newtown and west of the borough of Cheltenham.

Pipersville is part of the Delaware Valley Metro Area, and is also close to the suburban areas of Philadelphia, Reading, and Lancaster. The city is located at the eastern edge of the Appalachian Mountains and has a temperate-climate, with cold winters and hot summers. The area is home to the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society Garden in the town center.

The city was originally known as Pipersville Station. The station served the Pittsburgh, Harrisburg and Philadelphia Railroad and was renamed after John Piper, the president of the railroad, in 1885.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 8.7 square miles (22.1 km2), of which, 8.7 square miles (22.0 km2) is land and 0.02 square miles (0.05 km2) is water.

As of the census of 2010, there were 50,007 people, 21,719 households, and 15,466 families residing in the city. The population density was 6,883.8 people per square mile (2,950.7/km²). There were 24,427 housing units at an average density of 3,898.0 per square mile (1,549.1/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 71.9% White, 15.8% African American, 0.2% Native American, 4.4% Asian, 1.0% from other races, and 3.5% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 5.2% of the population.

There were 21,719 households out of which 36.1% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 54.7% were married couples living together, 10.3% had a female householder with no husband present, and 29.0% were non-families. 22.8% of all households were made up of individuals and 8.7% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.68 and the average family size was 3.23.
