Onslow City, NC is located in Brunswick County, just east of the Albemarle Sound on the mainland.

Onslow City is bordered by Veazie to the northwest, Prices Point to the north, Asheboro to the northeast, and Rodanthe to the east. The city is well known for its beaches, which are reached by following US 130 to the north or US 17 south.
