Olathe is a city located in Johnson County, Kansas, United States. As of the 2010 census, the city population was 26,181. Olathe is the second most populous city in Johnson County, after Overland Park.

The city is home to Olathe North High School, which is part of the Overland Park-Kansas City Metropolitan Area School District.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 16.4 square miles (41.8 km²), all of it land.
