Oketo is a city located in Osun State, in southwest Nigeria. According to the 2006 census, the city has a population of 162,313 people. Oketo is located at latitude 6.5 degrees North, longitude 9.5 degrees East, and has an elevation of 473 meters above sea level.

The city is bordered by its twin city of Osogbo on the north, the state capital Ibadan to the east, and the city of Makurdi to the south. Oketon is connected to Makurdi by a road via Otunbora, and to Ibadan by the A4 road.
