Munden is a small city located in Williamson County, Texas, United States. It is situated about midway between Austin and Houston. Munden has a population of about 9,500 as of 2010. The city is part of the Austin–Round Rock–San Marcos metropolitan area.
Munden is located in the Austin metropolitan area at (30.230282, -97.664967). It is bordered to the south by Georgetown, to the west by Horseshoe Bay, to the north by Lakeway, and to the east by Temple.
