Midland Park is a city located in Bergen County, New Jersey, United States. As of the 2010 United States Census, the city's population was 20,963, reflecting an increase of 711 (+5.7%) from the 19,595 counted in the 2000 Census, which had in turn increased by 3,824 (+29.9%) from the 15,594 counted in the 1990 Census. Midland Park is located in the southwest corner of the county and is bordered by Garfield to the north, Teaneck to the east, Englewood to the south, and Hackensack to the west. The eastern edge of Midland Park touches the New Jersey Meadowlands.

Midland Park was incorporated as a municipality by an act of the New Jersey Legislature on March 31, 1912, from portions of Englewood, Teaneck and Hackensack. Midland Park's name is taken from the original name for the area, Midland Park, which was granted to it by Governor of New Jersey William Collins in 1795.

Midland Park is located in the southwest corner of Bergen County at 40°43′21″N 73°15′45″W. It is bordered by Garfield to the north, Teaneck to the east, Englewood to the south, and Hackensack to the west. The eastern edge of Midland Park touches the New Jersey Meadowlands.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 9.173 square miles (23.483 km2), of which, 8.866 square miles (22.259 km2) is land and 0.382 square miles (1.231 km2) (2.90%) is water.

As of the 2000 United States Census there were 19,595 people, 7,442 households, and 5,591 families residing in the city. The population density was 1,930.3 people per square mile (711.9/km²). There were 7,845 housing units at an average density of 850.2 per square mile (330.8/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 87.57% White, 1.92% African American, 0.14% Native American, 6.62% Asian, 0.01% Pacific Islander, 1.48% from other races, and 2.91% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 5.94% of the population.
