Lost Springs is located in Central Oklahoma. The city is situated on the south bank of the Deep Fork River, ten miles south of its confluence with the Arkansas River. The Deep Fork and Arkansas Rivers merge to form the Red River at Karnes City, Texas.

Lost Springs is bordered on the west by the city of Lawton, on the north by the city of Abilene, and on the east by the town of Eldorado.
