Los Olivos is an incorporated town in Santa Barbara County, California, United States. It is located about 30 miles (48 km) southeast of Santa Barbara and about the same distance north of the city of Paso Robles. The population was 9,282 at the 2010 census.
Los Olivos is in the Los Olivos Valley wine region. The town features a mix of architecture from the 1920s through the 1960s, many of which were designed by local architects. Notable buildings and sites in Los Olivos include the civic center and library, the wine museum, the historic Sentinel Hotel (now known as the Casa del Orgullo gay and lesbian community center), and the William Randolph Hearst Castle, which is open to the public as a park.
Los Olivos is near the popular state beaches of Rincon and Arroyo Seco, as well as the smaller but picturesque beaches of Bahia de Los Osos and San Simeon.
