Kings Park is located in southeastern Oregon, just north of the California border and east of the Nevada border. The city has a total area of 179.1 square miles, and is the second largest city in Clackamas County.

Kings Park is bordered by the cities of Lake Oswego to the south and east, Oregon City to the north, and Gresham to the west. The city's primary commercial corridor runs along Interstate 5. The city is also home to Oregon's only two ski areas: The Summit at Snoqualmie and The Dells at Keizer.
