Jenks, Oklahoma is located in southern Oklahoma between Tulsa and the Arkansas state line. It is the county seat of Jefferson County and has a population of around 17,000.

Jenks is located on U.S. Highway 71, about midway between Tulsa and the Arkansas state line. It is bordered to the south and east by Tulsa, to the north by Rogers County, and to the west by Ottawa County.

Jenks is about 70 miles west of downtown Tulsa and about 100 miles south of the Texas state line. It has a warm, temperate climate with average temperatures ranging from the low 40s in the winter to the upper 80s in the summer.

Jenks is about an hour's drive from both Tulsa and Oklahoma City. It is also about two hours' drive from Tulsa by bus and about two and a half hours' drive by drive.

Jenks is home to the Jefferson County Fair, one of the Midwest's largest agricultural fairs, and the Jenks Municipal Airport. The city is also home to several churches, a stadium, a Morris Carter Park, and the Jenks Convention Center.
