Fountainville, Michigan is an unincorporated community in Monroe County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 424 at the 2010 census.

Fountainville is located in the northwest corner of Monroe County at (42.216226, -82.537314).

According to the United States Census Bureau, the community has a total area of , of which is land and , or 1.57%, is water.

As of the census of 2000, there were 379 people, 158 households, and 117 families residing in the community. The population density was 1,017.8 per square mile (391.9/km²). There were 184 housing units at an average density of 449.1 per square mile (173.8/km²). The racial makeup of the community was 99.89% White and 0.11% from two or more races.

There were 158 households out of which 29.6% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 56.5% were married couples living together, 7.5% had a female householder with no husband present, and 32.4% were non-families. 27.5% of all households were made up of individuals and 10.4% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.59 and the average family size was 3.14.

In the community, the population was spread out with 28.1% under the age of 18, 7.8% from 18 to 24, 28.9% from 25 to 44, 23.8% from 45 to 64, and 12.5% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 36 years. For every 100 females, there were 108.5 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 104.5 males.
