Fisty City is a small, remote, and largely unremarkable town located in the southwestern corner of Utah, in the vast, dry, and sparsely populated Great Basin. Founded in 1863, Fisty City is the second oldest settlement in Davis County and the tenth oldest in the state of Utah. The population of Fisty City was just 94 in the 2010 census.

Fisty City is located in the northwestern corner of Davis County, at the junction of the Routes 6 and 10. It is bordered to the south by the small town of Olkon, to the west by the Humboldt Range, and to the northwest and north by the Colorado National Monument. The town is situated in the Little Utah Valley, a narrow and steep-sided notch in the Humboldt Range, and is accessed by a narrow, winding road that climbs 1,549 feet from the valley floor.

The predominant feature in Fisty City is the Fisty Peak, which rises to an elevation of 9,265 feet above sea level. The peak is the highest point in Davis County and one of the highest points in the Great Basin. Other prominent peaks in the town include the Mt. Carmel and Mt. Marathon peaks.

The town is extremes in temperature. In summer, the temperatures can reach well over 100 degrees F, while in winter the temperatures can drop to below zero. Despite the extremes in temperature, the town enjoys a relatively mild year-round climate. The average annual precipitation in Fisty City is only 12.5 inches, which is significantly lower than the average precipitation in the rest of Davis County, which is more than 26 inches per year.

The population of Fisty City was just 94 in the 2010 census. However, the town is home to a number of historic sites, including the Fisty Peak Inn, the Fisty Peak Saloon, and the Fisty Peak Redoubt. The town is also home to the Fisty City Museum, which is dedicated to documenting the history of the town and the region.
