Cassandra City, located in the northwestern part of the state of Ohio, is the sixth largest city in the state and the largest city in the Tri-State area. With a population of more than 58,000 people, it is also the most populous city in the Western Reserve of Ohio. The area that is now Cassandra City was originally settled by the Shawnee Indians in the early 1800s. The city was founded in 1853 and was named after the Roman prophet Cassandra, although the city's official name is now Cassandra City-Warren County.

Cassandra City is located along the banks of the Olentangy River in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains.
