The nearest states are Kansas and Nebraska, and the capital of Kansas, Topeka, is just over 80 miles away. The nearest major city is Wichita, which is just over an hour away. The population of Bronte City was just over 7,000 as of the 2010 Census, making it one of the smaller towns in Kansas.
