Briarcliff Manor, New York, is a city located in Westchester County, within the New York Metropolitan Area. The population was 20,508 at the 2010 census. Briarcliff Manor is also the largest city in Westchester County, and the second largest municipality in the county after Yonkers.

Briarcliff Manor is bordered on the east by the Town of Scarsdale, on the south by the Town of Rye, on the west by the Village of White Plains and on the northwest by the Town of Mount Kisco.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of , of which is land and , or 49.83%, is water. The New York State Thruway and the Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM) studio lot are adjacent to the north and west of the city.

The Hudson River forms the northern boundary of the city, and the Bronx River forms the southern boundary.

Spring and autumn are generally wet, with occasional significant rains in the summer. Most of the rain falls in October and November.

As of the census of 2000, there were 17,336 people, 7,451 households, and 5,303 families residing in the city. The population density was 3,969.8 per square mile (1,565.5/km²). There were 7,816 housing units at an average density of 1,474.5 per square mile (573.4/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 98.35% White, 0.33% African American, 0.25% Native American, 0.36% Asian, 0.03% Pacific Islander, 0.70% from other races, and 0.84% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 2.02% of the population.
