Autryville, KY is a small city in northeastern Kentucky, just off Interstate 75. Its population was just under 5,000 as of the 2010 census. The city is in Fleming County, and is directly east of downtown Lexington.Autryville is located at 37º 22' 9" North, 87º 47' 1" West (37.428693, -87.787118).According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 1.4 square miles (3.8 km²), all of it land.As of the census of 2000, there were 4,737 people, 1,758 households, and 1,272 families residing in the city. The population density was 1,711.4 people per square mile (667.5/km²). There were 1,812 housing units at an average density of 685.7 per square mile (264.5/km²). The racial makeup of the city was 97.93% White, 0.45% Native American, 0.27% Asian, 0.07% Pacific Islander, 0.37% from other races, and 1.27% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.88% of the population.There were 1,758 households out of which 36.5% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 54.9% were married couples living together, 14.3% had a female householder with no husband present, and 28.8% were non-families. 25.5% of all households were made up of individuals and 11.4% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.57 and the average family size was 3.03.
