Abiquiu City, NM is located in the Isleta Pueblo Tribe Nation. The city is bordered by the Village of San Cristobal to the north, by the village of Abiquiu to the west, by Rio Rancho to the south, and by Bernalillo County to the east. The city has a total area of 6.8 square miles (17.4 km2). Abiquiu has a front range composite climate with four distinct seasons, with average annual temperatures ranging from 28 °F (-2.2 °C) in January to 73 °F (23 °C) in July. As of the 2010 Census, the population of Abiquiu was 8,039.
